Themenheft “Ethik in der Medizin” 2027
Themenhefte gehören seit vielen Jahren zum fest etablierten, geschätzten Programm der Zeitschrift „Ethik in der Medizin“. Auch in diesem Jahr erfolgt wieder ein „Call for Proposals“. Wer für 2027 ein Themenheft der Zeitschrift „Ethik in der Medizin“ gestalten möchte, kann bis zum 16. März 2026 einen Vorschlag einreichen. Vorschläge umfassen maximal 2 Seiten und sind gegliedert nach: Thema und Begründung seiner Relevanz, kurze Begründung des gewählten Aufbaus, Autor*innen mit Affiliation und Arbeitstitel der geplanten Beiträge (vorzugsweise Originalartikel und ggf. Übersichtsarbeiten). Zudem sollen in einem Anhang für jeden geplanten Beitrag ein Abstract der Autor*innen sowie ein kurzer Absatz mit Informationen zu den Autor*innen (biosketch) eingereicht werden (max. 1 Seite pro Beitrag). Die vorgesehenen Autor*innen sollten in der Regel vorher zugesagt haben, was im Proposal zu vermerken ist. Falls keine Zusage eines Autors/einer Autorin vorliegt, ist hinter dem Namen ein „(angefragt)“ hinzuzufügen. Die Proposals können auf Deutsch oder Englisch eingereicht werden, ebenso wie die Sprache der geplanten Beiträge Deutsch oder Englisch sein kann (das Editorial sollte auf Deutsch sein). Die Schriftleitung wird auf ihrer Frühjahrssitzung zwischen den eingereichten Vorschlägen auswählen. Die Einreichenden werden spätestens im Mai 2026 über die Entscheidung informiert. Bei akzeptierten Proposals durchlaufen die Beiträge das übliche Peer-Review-Verfahren. Die Gastherausgeber*innen werden gebeten, ein Editorial zu verfassen.

Special Issue 2027
Call for Proposals
Special (topical) issues are a well-established, appreciated part of the journal „Ethik in der Medizin“ for many years. This year there is again a call for proposals. Anyone who wants to set up a special issue for 2027 is invited to submit a proposal by March 16, 2026. Proposals should have a maximum size of 2 pages and contain the following elements: topic and its relevance, short explanation of the structure, authors of planned contributions (preferentially original articles or reviews) with their affiliation and the tentative title. In addition, the submission should include an annex with an abstract for each planned contribution, written by the authors, and short biosketches of the authors (max. 1 page per contribution). The planned authors of contributions should have accepted their participation, if possible. This should be noted in the proposal. If an acceptance has not yet been received, it should be remarked that the author participation has been requested. Proposals can be written in English or German and the contributions in the special issue can also be in English or German (but the editorial should be written in German). The editorial board will make a selection among the submitted proposals at its spring meeting 2026. The submitting scholars will be informed in May 2026 at the latest about the decision of the editorial board. In the case of an accepted proposal the contributions will be treated according to the usual peer-review procedure of the journal and the guest editors will be invited to write an editorial.
