Zum Vortrag:
Many ethicists worry that the use of AI in high-stakes decision-making will generate a responsibility gap, that is, a situation in which nobody is responsible for the decisions made. Others, however, claim that, while there may be no individual who is responsible for the decisions in question, we might find a locus of responsibility if we switch focus to collectives as responsibility bearers. In this talk, I assess whether different types of collective responsibility might be appealed to in this context.
Zum Vortragenden:
Isaac Taylor ist Associate Professor für Praktische Philosophie an der Universität Stockholm. Seine Arbeit konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf moralische und politische Philosophie, aktuell insbesondere auf Themen wie künstliche Intelligenz und die Regulierung von Kriegsführung. Derzeit schreibt er ein Buch über die Verantwortungslücke in der KI-Ethik.
