Call for stories on receiving clinical ethics consultation.
The journal Narrative Inquiry in Bioethics, published by Johns Hopkins University press, will publish collections of first-person accounts of topics relevant to bioethics. Currently, they have a call for stories on receiving clinical ethics consultation. These can be stories from patients, family members, clinicians, or others who are involved in a consult not as the ethics consultant. The hope is that people who found ethics consultation valuable share their experiences.
Interested authors are asked to submit first a short proposal of the story they would like to tell (300 words) by 31 July 2023. The stories are then due later and are about 800-2000 words.
